A summary so far:

Weโ€™ve climbed to Christ the Redeemer and hang glided over Rio, partied and sambaโ€™d with the locals in Paraty, saw Van Gogh paintings and the largest Japanese district outside of Japan in Sao Paulo, witnessed eco planning at work in Curitiba, relaxed on golden sands in Florianopolis, witnessed the thousands of crashing waterfalls at Foz Do Iguacu, slept in Asuncion, explored Jesuit missions and the Atlantic forest in Encarnacion, saw the beautiful town of Colonia Del Sacramento, got beeped at a lot in Buenos Aires, whale watched in Puerto Madryn, gazed at one of the only non-receding glaciers in the world in El Calafate, spoke Welsh in Gaiman (one of the only other places in the world to speak Welsh), camped in the wild and hiked/climbed a lot in El Chalten, explored the fake Swiss lands and biked for miles around Bariloche, rode/fell off horses and bike toured wineries in Mendoza, slept in Salta. Stargazed, sweated and froze in the driest place on earth – the Atacama dessert. Made new friends and jeeped across Chile to the Bolivian salt flats over 4 days. Flew from Uyuni to La Paz to see the witches market and then flew to Rurrenbaque, had a 3 hour boat journey in a storm to the Amazon rainforest where we slept in an eco lodge made of wire with a 360 panoramic view, saw many many monkeys and so many insects, now sat in a tropical thunder storm in Rurrenbaque waiting for our flight back to La Paz. Ready for at least another 8 months of travel!
